Probably the best bbq I've had! The ribs were perfect. Pulled off the bone but still had a great chew. The rub was fantastic and went great with the tangy homemade sauce. I coulda ate the sauce with a spoon! The cornbread was beyond delicious. The turkey was awesome and the cheddar jalapeño sausage was insanely good! The potato and macaroni salads are something I'm gonna crave. Drove over an hour to get here and worth it 1000%. This will be a regular stop for us from now on. Our host was absolutely lovely! I definitely recommend you check this place out. Oh and get the fried pickles too-they were so good!

Was brought in by a local where he had the food recently at a catered golf event. Well I’m pleased we stopped by, I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was really good. The service was exceptional and cutting off the tip of the chill bbq sauce was genius!! When I come back to Hamburg I will be visiting backwoods again!!

I totally enjoyed this place it was our first time there. The waitress was very nice and made us feel like we were at home. The food was amazing we had the brisket, catfish, pulled pork an chicken it was all very very good. I can't wait to go back. Do yourself a favor an stop if you like smoked meats. You will thank me. It's a 40 min drive for us but we'll worth every minute of the drive to get there.

A delicious experience! Incredible brisket, a delicious brisket cheesesteak over flowing with fresh jalapeño, cheese & onions. Fresh cut fries that were made perfectly! Must have the fluffy, moist cornbread!! Saving the best for last, the GREEN BEANS! You won't stop eating them!! Cheers to Chef Tyler & his awesome Mom! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!
